Service Catalogue Management

The purpose of Service Catalogue Management (SCM) process is to provide a single source of truth of all the available operational services. The SCM process ensures that the Service Catalogue is maintained and visible to the stakeholders who need the information.

The objectives of SCM process are outlined below:

  • Business Service Catalogue, that lists the business facing services is developed
  • Technical Service Catalogue, that underpins the Business Service Catalogue is developed
  • The service catalogues are published and visible to the target stakeholders
  • The service catalogue is maintained – new services are added, existing services are updated and retired services are removed from the catalogue
