Design Coordination

The purpose Design Coordination is to provide a single point of contact for all the design stage activities to ensure the solution design is consistent. 

The objectives of design coordination are:

  • Plan and Coordinate the resources and capabilities required to design new or changed services
  • Develop Service Design Packages (SDP).  SDP defines all aspects of an IT service right from strategy, design standards, transition requirements and operational criteria.
  • Ensure SDP are handed over to Service Transition
  • Ensure consistent design according to Enterprise Architecture standards
