Change Evaluation
The purpose of Change Evaluation process is to provide a consistent approach to evaluate change to determine the likely impacts on business outcomes, performance and other existing services. After the release, the results are compared with the prediction and actual impact. Risks and issues related to the change are identified and managed.
The objectives of change evaluation are to:
- Set stakeholder expectations correctly about a change and its impact on the business
- Provide effective and accurate information to change managers so that they can take informed decision about the impacts
- Evaluate the intended effects of a service change
